Annette’s first job, after graduating from University with a Degree in Visual Arts, was as a freelance photographer for a daily newspaper. To date – there are fun and fond memories of these often exciting assignments in a fast paced environment. She worked for several years as a photojournalist as well as operating a small photography business. Then; some additional passions beckoned to be explored – specifically: dog behaviour and training. The camera, though, was always and remains a faithful companion both through commissioned and paid work as well as a tool for expressive unpaid work – a tool for expressing creativity, and celebrating connections, moments and sharing this gift of captured time. It only seems natural that the deep love of dogs is evident here as well through these common passions and professions: photography and dogs.
